Shared Principles

We oppose Israel’s genocidal war, and we call for a permanent ceasefire, an end to the siege on Gaza, and an end to the occupation. We also recommit ourselves to the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions.

We believe that the oppression of Palestinians cannot be divorced from all other oppressions that operate on a systemic level and punish marginalized people. We stand in solidarity with other movements fighting against imperialism, colonization, ableism, racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia. in the US and abroad. We believe that genuine peace in Palestine can only be achieved through justice, that is, when the Palestinians gain the right to self-determination and international law is upheld.

We therefore commit ourselves to working towards the following goals:

1. Mobilizing our communities to speak out against Israel’s ethnic cleansing and genocide of Palestinians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza.

2. Building solidarity in  our communities with  the Indigenous Palestinian refugees in the Arab and global diaspora.

3. Educating our communities about relevant international law and the findings of UN and human rights organizations. These include but are not limited to: UN Resolutions 194, 242, and 3246, the International Court of Justice ruling on the Israeli separation Wall, and the UN Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict, known as the Goldstone Report

4. Organizing against anti-Arab and anti-Muslim racism domestically and educating our communities about the connection  between these injustices and the US sponsored Israeli apartheid system abroad.

5. Working to end US government military aid and unconditional political and economic support for Israel, which is the main reason why Israel is able to continue its oppression of Palestinians in defiance of international law and the international community.

6. Supporting the call by Palestinian civil society for a Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement to compel Israel to end the occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands, dismantle the Separation Wall, uphold the right of return of Palestinian refugees, and ending legal discrimination against Palestinian Arabs inside Israel. We invite organizations  that believe in these principles to join the coalition.
